The Administrative Coordinator will be joining an amazing team at the Burn Institute as we work to educate and inspire our communities to reduce burn injuries and empower those affected by burn trauma. While there is flexibility to work remotely in this position, there are certain tasks that will require dedicated time each week in our office. While in the office, this individual will be the first point of contact for the organization by answering incoming phone calls & greeting all visitors. This position is responsible for providing assistance with projects for special events, prevention education & burn survivor support programs; facilitates the scheduling & the upkeep of office conference rooms & vehicles; and maintaining office supplies.
Description of Responsibilities: The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for tasks related to:
Volunteer Management – Connect talented volunteers with arising needs for events & programs. Develop methods to further engage volunteers and orientate new volunteers.
Development - Maintain Gifts and Donor information in Salesforce database. Generate and mail Thank You letters in response to either donations or participation in various events throughout the year.
Program Management- Coordinate Emergency Preparedness in the Workplace trainings. Schedule trainers & maintain supplies for program.
Bookkeeping - Assist with accounts payable processes and monthly account reconciliations with QuickBooks.
Administrative and general office experience (in a non-profit setting a plus). Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills required. Experience with Salesforce and QuickBooks is required. Must have the ability to work independently and also effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors and the public. Must have good administrative computer skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish, speaking/writing) a plus.

Compensation: $17.00/hr. Burn Institute offers full-time staff 11 paid holidays; 20 PTO days accrued in calendar year; health, vision, dental, chiropractic, and life insurance benefits; 403b retirement plan.
