This position plays a significant role in supporting the Major Gifts Team in stewarding major donors by assisting with multiple forms of outreach, preparing and distributing multi-platform materials, and maintaining Donor updates and Moves Management data in the RE/NXT database.

 

Essential Functions Support Major Gift Officers and Sr. Director of Development with regard to Fundraising and Donor Relations:

·    Design & Prepare Custom Donor Reports, invitations and other collateral, with Development Officer content, print & distribute.

·    Participate in Donor Outreach as needed: calls, emails, visits and major donor events.

·    Interacts with and provides stewardship support for the agency’s most generous Donors.

·    Coordinate vendor print orders in collaboration with Annual Fund Manager.

·    Update Raiser’s Edge Donor Record.

·    Prepare Donor Letters, incorporate Development Officer edits, print & distribute in a timely manner.

·    Prepare Donor Thank You Call Lists & complete subsequent RE updates.

·    Design & Prepare Custom Donor Reports, invitations and other collateral, with Development Officer content, print & distribute.

·    Oversee office supply orders per agency protocols.

·    Coordinate Major Donor Tour logistics in collaboration with the Events Team.

·    Prepare Major Gift Team Meeting Minutes and prompt carryover action items.

·    Prepare Board Development Committee Meeting Minutes in support of Sr. Director of Development.

 

Job Requirements ·   Bachelors’ Degree required.

·   Highly Proficient writing and communications skills

·   Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge/NXT Database or equivalent donor database management system.

·   Knowledge and use of InDesign and Canva Software, or equivalent

·   Basic collateral design experience

·   Professional demeanor and comfort interacting with major donors and cross-department team members, including the Executive Assistant for the President & CEO, Communications Team, Facilities Team and others during the course of duties.

·   Assist Development Officers with Major Donor phone calls, emails and personal delivery of gifts and materials.

·        At least 2 years of administrative assistant experience.

·         Proficient user of MS Office

·        Be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience; possesses a valid California driver's license; and has no Class 1 or more than two Class 2 violations within the past 36 months.

·        Participate in an annual Tuberculosis screening and/or other screenings when necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be granted where appropriate.
