The Old Globe, a Tony-award winning regional theatre located in San Diego’s legendary Balboa Park, seeks a highly self-motivated, detailed oriented, dynamic leader and doer to join our team of dedicated theatre makers who strive every day to make theatre matter to more people across our community.
As a member of the senior staff reporting to the Managing Director, the position oversees all aspects of front-of-house, public safety (security), gift shop, and pub operations, as well as overseeing information technology and general facility planning, and artistic contract negotiation and execution. Position is also responsible for ensuring that the daily administrative and operational functions of the theatre are flawlessly executed.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated successful experience in managing multiple priorities/projects in a fast-paced environment, with theatrical experience a plus. The best person for this position will be a visionary in seeking new ways to do new things. The salary offered is commensurate with experience, and this full-time, year round position also offers benefits including vacation, health and company paid retirement contributions.
