The Instructional Developer supports faculty in the development, maintenance, and upgrade of online instructional materials and online courses. The Instructional Developer position in general supports all faculty seeking assistance from Instructional Development Services (IDS). Reporting to the Director of Academic Technology, the incumbent receives day-to-day operational direction from the IDS Lead and works with peers in the group to provide training and assist faculty with the development of accessible instructional materials and websites with the campus' Learning Management Systems. The incumbent is a member of a team of instructional development professionals who evaluate content for best practices, perform training and assistance in the conversion of instructional materials, and support the activities related to online learning, Open Educational Resources, and other instructional initiatives at CSUSM.

CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,372 - $10,792 per month
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,854 - $6,667 per month
