The primary purpose of the Instructional Support Technician (IST) is to cooperatively work with the existing Biology Laboratory Coordinators in supporting Biology laboratory courses. The IST I operates under the lead direction of the IST III and under direct supervision of the Associate Dean. Major responsibilities may include: setting up labs; preparing laboratory materials; maintaining inventory of equipment and supplies; repairing and maintaining equipment; collecting and maintaining living organisms; and coordinating tasks for the Student Assistants.

Satisfactory completion of a background check (including a criminal records check) is required for employment. CSU Classification Salary Range: $3,565 - $6,187 per month
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $3,565 - $4,220 per month
